Since the badblocks fix I have also had problems several times.
Often when I flashed back from a newer build to an older build via WebIF, my r7800 would no longer boot.
So I have flashed via TFTP 4-5 times in the last few days.
TFTP has always worked.
few minutes ago tried to GUI install over r52004 on WNDR700v4
TOTAL BULLSHIT bootloop.
Power off/on still bootloop
Power on doing a reset -- still bootloop.
twas setup as WAP with isolated guest net & OVPN server
This is at far end of my WDS net at other house but I'm sitting right beside it while trying upgrade.
Glad I left the old WNR2000v3 w/r43845 sitting close by setup same way minus ovpn server.
gonna take the WNDR3700v4 back to homeworld and try a TFTP and fix the poor thang

hmm the only mystery i had with the last few builds is my 1043v2 flashed via GUI(WEB interface)..
on flash it does not reboot and ssh not available anymore..which is understandable as in order to make some space in the ram to upload the firmware WEB flash does turn off some services ..but no idea why reboot doesn't happen...I always use pale-moon private mode...
to be precise i did flash the current with no problems 52054..so no idea where it comes form...also R7800 via CLI no problem reboots and runs all well..happy days so far...no complains on it... _________________ Atheros

I know of many reported problems with a lot of the recent builds, especially my routers and like. Myself, I have very few issues, but I must say if you go by what is showing in the logs this build is great. Uptime 7 hrs. and only a few entries. Auth request, authenticated, few handshakes. Thats it. NO kern.info, debug, notice, warnings. Nothing ! I don`t know what some of you guys know, but less is better. Right ?? _________________ ......All GOOD here... The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch
