if there's still anyone using this hardware and has updated to 51937 or 51976.

Is there a difference between K2.6 and K3.x for the load (cpu & ram) when using both bands of wifi?

You can query the New Build threads for you router or similar Broadcom Mips routers e.g. E3000, E2000.

Query something like: New Build E3000
and search for all terms then look in the New Build threads.

In theory K2.6 is leaner and faster but it misses things like WireGuard and I am not sure OpenVPN is working, most user are using a K3 build (which actually has been upgraded to use K4.4 which is still an SLTS build so still supported security wise)
