Firmware: v3.0-r51937 (03/05/23)
Netgear 6700v3

I'm using FreeDNS/Afraid and the built in FreeDNS provider no longer seems to work:

So I've switched to try using a Custom URL, but can't seem to figure out how to break it down to fill out the Dynamic DNS Server, Path, Username, Password and Hostname.

If this is the update url, how do I fill out Dynamic DNS?

https://freedns.afraid.org/dynamic/update.php?<secret-code>
-OR-
http://sync.afraid.org/u/<secret-code>/

If you post any links you should also read them.

This is the "update key" or token and yes it is no longer needed because inadyn generates it automatically.

User name, password and host - that's all that's needed

at least if you use the built in "freedns.afraid.org" plugin and not "custom"

Welp - now I feel dumb. I did read the articles, guess I didn't realize "the wiki entry for "freedns.afraid.org" is anyway bullshit" meant the guide is totally and entirely bullshit, especially the part that says username/password aren't needed.

I plugged my actual FreeDNS username and password and my target hostname and yup everything started working.

Thanks for setting me straight ho1Aetoo!
