I have a network of dumb AP all over the site, and I see that some with very low TX are connecting to certain AP where there are other AP which much better range

Is there a way to better orchestrate this? For example, forcing disconnect any client with TX under 7

I've seen this is done in the Unifi controller, so maybe can be done locally in each AP with DD-WRT.

Disassociate with low ack settings under wireless settings tab(s). Keep in mind this also has to do with your Range / ack timing configuration as well, if memory serves.

This is not enough, in fact I think this option was preactivated by default.

Advanced Settings checkbox section for Drop Clients with Low Signal, Minimum Signal etc. but YMMV.
Clients ultimately choose which access points to attempt authentication; reconfigure known networks.
So forget or delete any known networks with low signals, of course use separate SSIDs for AP radios.

Wow, I didn't see that! Amazing Smile

So this basically filters by RSSI in dB, right?
I was saying TX because I saw that in Unifi, but I guess RSSI is also adequate. I will drop for example, anything below -80dB.
