Hi
I just bought a Linksys WRT160N v2 router and I was reading different forums and people are saying that DDWRT is not supported on it, but it is listed on the supported devices page. So can anyone let me know if it works and if so then which firmware do I use?
Has it been lost? :-/
Here in Belgium it cost 60euros on LDLC.com and we have to add 14euros if i remember well for the delivery.
If about 70 persons give 1 euro by paypal or something like, it certainly possible to buy an other...
Also, i see the WRT160NL is out: http://www.ldlc.be/fiche/PB00088475.html
They say in french than there is more memory inside and mainly designed for Linux.
It's the migration of the WRT54GL
Also, they added an USB port to put a hard drive or an USB key and 2 antennas with an SMA connector
Useful to add a directional antenna.
Someone interested for a donation for a new WRT160N V2?
Just a small question: How to be sure to receive a Version 2 from the store?
The box of my router said on the sticker that it was a V2... unfortunately I didn't look if it was supported by dd-wrt because I love it on my wrt54gs v3...
Yes ibanez but if understand well, it seems that this donation has been lost and if we stay like that, i think we will never have a DD-wrt support for this router version...
Now it sure that's not cool for the guy who payed the first router...
I got an email from the Devs. They say that the only piece they don't have working is the Ethernet Switch, and they're getting some vendor docs on that.
