The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch

Netgear R7500v2 WDS STA Did This Twice
WDS STA never reconnected to R7800 (51530) WDS AP after upgrade.
No DHCP possible
set static IP & scp 51506 back to her
and returns to normal
Linksys ea8500 ..WDS AP and Linksys ea8500 ..WDS Stations ... X (2)
I thought it was just me. I upgraded my AP this morning and all went well with good internet. Later upgraded 1st Station and could not get internet access from AP. Upgraded 2nd Station but this time, erased nvram and reset but same issue, different ea8500. Went to AP location and had no internet. GUI downgrades to r51576 and all is fine again. _________________ ......All GOOD here... Just Handshakes and Time Stamps !......

Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r51617 std (02/09/23) (prev. DD-WRT v3.0-r51589 std (02/07/23))
Kernel: Linux 4.9.337 #1543 SMP Thu Feb 9 05:30:08 +07 2023 armv7l
Mode: Gateway, SFE disabled, 2.4G and 5G wifi, Wireguard for external access, WAN to 4G (DHCP Client), Keep Alive reboot 6:02 in the morning
Reset: No
Status: Installed yesterday, SSH problematic - see https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=333949 for explanation.
Changeset 51541 (https://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/51541) added a new drop rule for invalid packets.
With this rule in place I am no longer able to SSH into a VPS behind a Wireguard Endpoint.
I added
Code:
iptables -D FORWARD -m state --state INVALID -j DROP
iptables -D INPUT -m state --state INVALID -j DROP
to firewall. This resolved it.
According to the above mentioned thread (ty again @egc and @Alozaros!) I also added
Code:
iptables -I FORWARD ! -s $(nvram get wan_ipaddr) -o $(get_wanface) -p tcp -m state --state INVALID -j DROP
iptables -I FORWARD -m state --state RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
into firewall.
--> Testing the last days and releases showed no hiccups thus far.
