The next public dd-wrt build after -r50671 will have a brand new and improved inadyn 2.9.1...
I tried the latest build 02-04-2023-r51576/ ... and the router (now a R6700v3) locked up on me after a couple hours of running. DDNS seems to work initially, but if the modem reboots, it doesn't notice.... so the IP gets outdated for some time before/if ever updating.
I downgraded to DD-WRT v3.0-r51011 std (12/12/22) and again, I get DDNS updates upon reboot but it does not notice modem IP changes while in operation; but at least it seems not to hang up after running for a while.
I'm also now getting these errors on the DDNS GUI log:
Communication with checkip server api.ipify.org failed, run again with 'inadyn -l debug' if problem persists
Failed to get IP address for custom, giving up!
Communication with checkip server api.ipify.org failed, run again with 'inadyn -l debug' if problem persists

Ok, I'm confused. The ipify.org API is not for DDNS. It is not a DDNS provider that I am aware of. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
