The wl command is widely used in DD-WRT and other routers from an SSH connection.
In the case of the Asus AXE-11000, the command
| Code: | wl -i eth8 up
wl -i eth8 down
|
will turn the 6 GHz radio on and off.
I'm looking for a way to determine the status.
| Code: | wl -i eth8
wl -i eth8 status
|
do not work
There is a wl radio command, but it returns the same information whether the radio is on or off.
The eth8 up/down commands also control the LED on the router. Are there any commands to read a LED from SSH?
There is a reference from 2014 to the wl command from Broadcom posted here.

ifconfig - is the one that shows all interfaces..
iw - is the other i know of
like
iw dev 'interface name no quotes' station dump
or
iw wlan0 info
iw list
and ect...
