After many hours of factory resetting and flashing firmware, the Astrill applet still not work. When i click the connect button in Astrill applet, the applet will be AUTH,and Get_config,but then i still see the disconnect.
I told this issue to Astril tech support, and then he told me that please do not use DD-WRT STD version, use other firmware version,I thought that this issue may be the software adaptation problem between firmware and applet.
Could you recommend a firmware for Astrill applet?
Please check three links as below,i uploaded the screenshot for this issue.

The Astrill applet depends on MyPage functionality, which it will only work up to and with only certain older versions of DD-WRT and included OpenVPN package.

Correct. OpenVPN is not included on 4MB flash Atheros devices.

Did you consider buying a cheap, more capable DD-WRT compatible router such as TP-Link Archer C7? On eBay you can find it for less than 30€. It is likely that you can configure it for Astrill WireGuard VPN based on their instructions and configuration for Linux.

Thanks, this is a method for sharing the VPN.Actually I found the TP LINK WR842 that have 8M memory ,and can support sharing VPN.
And also I found other method, we can use old android mobile phone that can be set the Gateway, it also can be install the Astrill APK , then share the VPN.But the old phone need to be root,I can not find the root package,it’s too trouble.
kernel-panic69 is right, your router only has 4MB flash, and no Openvpn in the firmware,so you couldn't find the tab ‘openVPN' on your menu.
With that being said, you still executed the script Astrill says? and to my surprise,it's still installed in your router, don't really understand their script doesn't even check if there's openvpn module in targeted router!
Astrill sucks here in China,by that I mean the speed,so painfully slow.
A slow CPU clock speed router will give you slow OpenVPN throughput! _________________ Netgear R7800 PPPoE Main Router
