hmm v3 ??? what did you flash it with ?
At first you should ve read the forum guidelines and all useful tips...about flashing..
than you'd ve known, that you should ignore router database as it recommends old builds...
You could also read the new build threads and find witch is the last build...or post a
new thread and ask questions...if you ware uncertain...

The last firmware for your router is here:
https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2023/01-19-2023-r51440/tplink_tl-mr3420v1/

Im afraid if you bricked your router flashing it inappropriately, than you need to recover it either using TFTP flash or serial recovery witch will require more skills...

Not bad to spend some time reading, may be asking if anyone is using this unit and witch is the last build working on it...before you flash it...routers with small flash size ram are not very popular this days...as those are for very basic needs and lack of performance...

There is a reason for the disclaimer on the router database landing page which was ignored. There are a few links in the following search results that might be fruitful in helping you recover:

https://www.google.com/search?q=MR3420+site%3Aforum.dd-wrt.com

You may need to add an un-managed switch between PC and device, do some arp magic of some sort via command line. TFTPD32/64 may require anticipation window of 1024/2048 as well.
