Linksys WRT1900ACS v.2 DD-Wrt/-OpenWrt
Router/Version: Linksys WRT1900ACS v1 / DD-WRT v3.0-r51440 std (01/19/23)
File/Kernel: CLI webflash / Linux 4.9.337 #3603 SMP Thu Jan 19 04:28:37 +07 2023 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r49681 (& r50357) / No
Mode/Status: Gateway, DNSmasq, OpenVPN Client, FreeRADIUS Server, VLANs, VAPs, WPA3, Radar Detection (DFS), 14 dBm, AutoChannel / Uptime 11:36
Issues/Errors: Previously I'd tried r50357 but was unable to connect at all (wired/wireless/gui/ssh/putty/winscp), so I'd used the power switch thrice to switch back to the working r49681 partition. This weekend I flashed r51440 and encountered the following issues:
1) DNSMasq broken, 2) FreeRadius broken, 3) SSH broken (tried Putty & WinSCP), 4) GUI submenus sometimes disappearing in Firefox (but okay in PaleMoon).
Trouble-shooting and work-arounds:
1) I've temporarily bypassed DNSMasq by deselecting "Use dnsmasq for DNS" in Setup/BasicSetup, and can now access DNS and NTP. But what's changed?
2) I've regenerated the Certificate in Services/FreeRadius, but no joy yet (actively working on this today and will update if any success).
3) I was going to try telnet to trobleshoot broken ssh, but it's grayed out in Administration/Management. Even though it shouldn't affect the LAN side, I did try deselecting "Limit SSH Access" in Security/Firewall, but still can't get SSH access (wired from the LAN side). Any ideas? Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to download my post-boot logs without SSH working, but attached is a copy/paste from the last reboot.
4) GUI submenus seem to have self-resolved even in Firefox, so not an issue.
EDIT:
FreeRadius issue resolved by regenerating the Certificate a third time. So my remaining issues are DNSMasq and LAN-side SSH access. _________________ My DD-WRT Routers:

SSH has been upgraded.
If you have trouble connecting with SSH then download the latest Putty and make sure under SSH/Host keys to move ed25519 to the top and untick "Prefer Algorithms for which a host key is known" or forget/remove your known HOST keys (the fingerprints) from your client.
If you have trouble connecting with WinSCP under Tools/Clean up Clear Cache
Many thanks @egc! That resolved both my Putty and WinSCP issues. LAN-side SSH is working well again!
I don't see any obvious DNSMasq errors, so I'll read up to refresh my memory and deal with that again later.
Now that almost everything from my delay is sorted, this is a smooth and cool update! Thanks Devs! _________________ My DD-WRT Routers:
