rc5 voip/milkfish works
Excuse my elementary question but does this mean you can use sip phones with no extra sip server ? Is milkfish "sippin" phone calls ? _________________ http://69.175.13.131:8015 Streaming Week-End Disco. Station Ripper V 1.1 will do.
I upgraded to RC5 after doing a complete reset ("mtd erase nvram" via telnet) and noticed a real problem with timeouts to sites I tried connecting too. Sometimes I'd have to refresh in Firefox four or five times before some of the page would even load. I went back to RC4 and the problems went away.

yes , it's not necessary for place calls in LAN and WAN no addicional sip server .. ( for all sip phones and asterisk world ) ... for call to PSTN you must have a ATA gateway or assign a other sip ISP . _________________ DDwrt ...it rocks ....

Wi-Viz seems to work better. With rc4, Wi-Viz seemed sluggish. Wouldn't even start scanning unless the window was resized. With rc5, Wi-Viz starts right up and works fine and fast. Don't know if a change was made in rc5 or something's different on my system....
Under RC5 wireless stopped working on WRT 300N v1. Even after a hard reset. It would not even broadcast SSID. (Yes it was Enabled/ Disabled) So I had to go back to RC4.
Please try my builds, get them @ /others/eko/RC5-8430
HI Eko,
Sorry for the delayed response. I found the problem I was having, the mini files took just fine. It was the update to std that caused my wireless problem. after my second try at firmware upgrade to std all went well. Thanks for your help.

I've successfully flashed my WRT54GL to v24 rc5. Everything works fine so far (client bridge mode).
But since I've switched to v24 I miss rtsp_conntrack to watch TV over xDSL. My French ISP (Free) is broadcasting TV over xDSL using RTSP with dynamic port....
Could you, please, remerge rtsp_conntrack in next (or final) release? Maybe I could cross-compile that conntrack... but last time I've tried that (before v23) I didn't manage to compile with your sources...

Just flashed my WRT54GL 1.1 with MAC 00:016:... (This particular mac could have problems someone said).
Major speed increase, BUT, P2P with bittorrent still casuses router to hang/reset almost immediately. I have the recommended P2P no. connections adjusted to recommended values.
Is this really so hard to fix? Linksys original firmware could handle this ok... makes me wonder...
UPDATE: just changed software from Bitcomet to uTorrent, and it is all working better now. Running Vista x64...
