hmm looking at your router sticker it seems it is the US version and those are different..
than the world wide version where there is a build for it...

otherwise yes there is a build for A7 v5
https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2023/01-09-2023-r51275/tplink_archer-a7-v5/

if you know how to recover your router in case of a bad flash..(TFTP or serial)
than use first factory-to-ddwrt file than once on ddwrt
use the other file to flash new builds...
responsibility is yours...!!

For performance reasons I recommend r50927 until next public build after r51281 to test results with any fixes.

Not buying into the bullhockey. 51275 is working fine on this and similar hardware. Also, asking in two threads the same exact question is redundant. Yes, the "v5" firmware will flash if you use the correct file. This question was answered a long time ago...

Thank you all for your help. I already installed Ddwrt in My tplink. I have another question and I'm sorry to the admin if I repeat this question that I posted in the forum. I want to buy another tplink. Same hardware versión v5.8 same firmware... exactly the same... I can make a backup of the tplink that I have configured with Ddwrt... and use that same backup in the new tplink that I'm going to buy... I want to configure it the same... it's to save time setting it up.

Thanks

I also have the same router - A7 V5 - and running build r-50963 (11/28/22).

I noticed the LEDs aren't flashing properly (almost all LAN/USB LEDs light up though I am not using any of the LAN ports). Is this an issue with FW or is something wrong with my version?

I am using this as a WDS station. But even when I configure this as AP/router, I see the same issue.

LEDs are cosmetic and have not been a priority to be working "correctly" as in stock firmware or OpenWRT.

The other question was already answered....

Thanks, I wanted to make sure LEDs didn't indicate any malfunction

I will move my specific issues with WDS configuration to my earlier topic regarding mesh networking

As already referenced in ticket #7636 a performance issue is now resolved, of course recent builds are functional.

New Build - 01/12/2023 - r51288 / tplink_archer-a7-v5 (fallback r50927)

Just checking in if anyone has a solution to get the LED's to function correctly yet.

Thanks
