- You can disable all services of DD-WRT via the WEBUI.
- In a **CAPABLE** router, you can use Entware to install additional packages, including those not available in the WEBUI. Basically, DD-WRT can run like a Linux distribution.
- Entware includes GCC the compiler. You can write your own C and C++ programs
Just remember that most router processors are not as fast as desktop PC CPUs when running Entware apps, even if some of them has multiple cores.
