well...lot of threads about R9000...in the forum...
shortly...
-i have one and it works ok...so far...(it has an external fan attached to the case)
-it's a very powerful router with poor heat sick design and has a heating issues...although i never had any issues with it...(im not using 5Gh radio)..
-it has a bit different switch layout of dual switch so it's a bit different for VLan segmentation..
-it could come with flash ram bad blocks or burned radios...if you buy it second hand be careful...
-if radios are not working on the last BS builds unit can still boot..without radios...if im not wrong...and than for wi-fi use, you can connect another AP or router..
-its SFP can get very hot...
-for 50 bucks its a bargain price...
If You do, a forum search, you will find lots of more info...as well some guides how to do a vlans on it...
