Time: 21:25:08 up 1:11, load average: 0.08, 0.02, 0.00
Linux 4.9.334 #3533 SMP Mon Nov 28 04:41:50 +07 2022 armv7l
WRT3200ACM

There seems to be some disconnections every 30min or so on all devices. disconnection lasts about 30seconds. both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands. AP both, AC/N, Short Preamble, Short GI, WPA2 AES/TKIP both.

never mind this has stopped, not sure why. range seems much improved over previous versions in DFS channels.

Also noticed some channels are remarkably better than others. For example AP mixed vht80 CH56 nets me the longest range. Channels 60 and higher give me the worst range, with CH100 being nearly half as strong as CH56 which is the strongest in my testings.

Additional findings on my Echo Dot issue:

Moving the Echo to the 2.4GHz band makes the connection stable. I have a second Excho Dot that's normally connected to a Netgear R7800 access point upstairs. I swapped the two devices and the problem stayed with the WRT1900AC. If I downgrade to R50927 without changing configuration, the Echo Dot is stable on either band.

The FireTV stick seems to be stable on either band. I brought my laptop down and it also stayed stable on the 5GHz band. So it seems to be specific to the Echo Dot devices on the 5GHz band.

Turns out my laptop wasn't as stable on this build as I thought. I was on an hour long Facebook Messenger video chat, and it was repeatedly freezing and dropping the call altogether. Meanwhile the Echo was losing connectivity as well (but not necessarily at the same times).

I finally did a nvram erase and reconfigured from scratch. I left the Echo to play music for 2 straight hours, and it never skipped or dropped. A similar video call on my laptop also stayed perfectly stable. Both were on 5GHZ (channel 52 VHT80). Apparently it didn't like something left over from previous builds.
