[Solved] Netgear R7000 unable to revert to stock firmware

DDWRT had refuse to return to original firmware with Netgear XR500. I went to Fresh Tomato download and uploaded the XR300 back to original firmware file. This of course brick the router and I proceeded with using the TFTP method to upload the XR500 firmware which loaded with no issues.

hmm... you dont have to brick it...just upload the stock firmware via TFTP...its very simple..
I did that few times on XR500...the tiny moment is, when flashing DDWRT firmware lands on a bad blocks...and XR500 could have those indeed... Twisted Evil
