I recently purchased a Netgear R8000 router and have a question on the wifi setup.

If I select VHT80, it only allows me to use Auto as the channel instead of selecting a channel.

I've tried several different builds and they all do the same thing, even if I select the channel width (click save), extension channels (click save). Auto is the only option.
I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I'm using the following:
WL0 as AC/N Mixed VHT80
WL1 as N/G Mixed Wide HT40
WL2 as AC VHT80

Is this normal for this router or do I have an issue?

Thanks for the reply. I'm connected hardwire to it and it won't change, so maybe it's something else. It's weird. I've not encountered this on any of my other routers.

I think I might have figured it out as I'm in the United States, but it was defaulted back to Germany for some reason. I switched it once already, so I'm unclear why that occurred.

foundthat if on on the r8000 one needs to make one change save and apply and then make the next. seems to get confused if you make to many, swapped my area to USA but it defaulted back to UK as well and that what i put it down to.
