Hello All,
I have a wrt3200acm that was running the latest beta firmware. It essentially stopped working - connections would drop or just not connect period.
After trying everything I can think of, I did a 30 30 30 reset - push in reset button for 30 seconds. turn off. 30 more seconds. turn on, 30 more seconds. It's reset the SSID name to dd-wrt, but basically nothing 'works'. I can sometimes connect to the SSID, but accessing 192.168.1.1 in a browser almost never works. I can SOMETIMES get the main page, but clicking on anythig - status, etc, jusst times out. Any computer, wired or wireless, any browser.
Any suggestions on what else to try?
Is my router hosed?
For best results, Firefox / FF ESR portable or Pale Moon portable browsers in private browsing mode. In current firefox, you have to disable default https-only browsing. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

Sorry, yes I was running the November 9th firmware.
Odd - I found a site (I can't find it again now) that said to do the 30 30 30. I did try the standard reset as listed above, and it didnt work at that point. The 30 30 30 didn't seem to do anything different.
Sorry yes. 11-09 beta was what was last on there. I did try the 20 second reset. That reset it but still couldn't connect back to the web interface via any browser including latest firefox, private or otherwise, with https only disabled Cannot telnet either
You may have to manually enter the default webUI access like so:
Code:
http://192.168.1.1
You won't have telnet access until you set a new password on first access to webUI. Also consider using a browser with no extensions or add-ons installed / enabled. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

Ahh ok, thanks - I thought telnet worked 'out of the box'.
So yeah, I mean, I'm occasionally getting the Web UI - sometimes times out, sometimes doesn't. I did eventually get to change the password, but I can't navigate. Page will time out after a minute or so. If I eventually do somehow get to the main page, clicking on any header will 99% of the time timeout. And SSID frequently stops broadcasting and I get disconnected. When I DO get connected, I still can't telnet, even after I was able to reset the password.
Sounds like the router is borked? Or anything else worth trying?
