Hi All,

I'm relatively new to dd-wrt and networking. I'm currently a college student studying cybersecurity...anyway.

Here is my issue. I set up my NVR for my security cameras, except I realized that the router is in another room and I would have to drill holes and etc to get to it. Something I really don't want to do. So I installed DD-WRT to my Linksys E1000 and it worked! Now, I don't know how to get it connected to my router wirelessly. Is this possible? I essentially need the Linksys router to connect to the Unifi Dream Machine (not the pro model) and not output a wireless signal. I would then connect one of the ports on the Linksys to the NVR and connect it to the network. In theory, the Linksys router is an ethernet to wireless adapter for the NVR.

Many thanks,
