You mean old/wise. Working smart is not being lazy, though you could have been lazier (I mean smarter) still.

cp /home/mrjcd/Downloads/FTP_DL/wndr3700v4-webflash.bin firmware.bin
scp firmware.bin root@citadel-switch.mrjcd.com:/tmp

scp firmware.bin root@ea8500.mrjcd.com:/tmp
scp firmware.bin root@citadel-station-homeworld.mrjcd.com:/tmp

Router Model: TP-Link TL-WR1043N v5.0
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r50313 std (10/03/22)
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r50308 std (10/01/22)
File: ttplink_wr1043n-v5.bin
Kernel Version: Linux 3.18.140-d6 #154315 Sat Oct 1 06:59:33 +07 2022 mips
Mode: Gateway/AP
Reset: None required
Status: OK
Uptime: ~35 minutes
Issues/Errors: Missing "Save Custom" button issue on Administration -> Commands fixed:

Note: Recommended initial build for this router is now 50313. Will continue testing and report back. I have a feeling that the previous rendering issue was actually related to the missing button syntax (javascript error) issue and did not require a patch, but that would have to be tested. As long as "Save USB" is functional on devices with (a) USB port(s), that is all that matters. Thanks for your diligence, BrainSlayer!

Simple solution that takes up no local disk space and lets you watch the firmware flash process via telnet/ssh:
Code:
cd /tmp
wget -O firmware.bin http://path.to.file.here && tail -f /var/log/messages

Little. Yellow. Different.

You could do a mirror of the download server via lftp for your specific devices, if you aren't already.

Mode/Status: Gateway + Access Point (2.4 & 5 Ghz) + USB Storage (guide by egc) + Wireguard server.
Issues/Errors: No errors to report so far. Seems to be an increased incidence of pages stalling on load - for this r9000 (and a different PC to the r8000 testing) from none I can recall to often enough today to be mildly annoying.

Woo, Wireguard tunnel "Remove Peer" button is working. Yay.
