hardware: ea8500
software: 50308/50176 webupgrade

issues:
- no internet connection. ifconfig doesn't list vlan* interfaces. switch config seems to be valid

- back on 48081 (ubootenv + reboot) doesn't connect to internet too. powercycle is required to get internet back
egc wrote:
@habeIchVergessen there are no VLAN interfaces any more since the updated .dts when we switched from one CPU port to two CPU ports.

eth0 is the WAN (vlan2)
eth1 is the LAN (vlan1 with br0 and radio's)

Did you reset to defaults after the switch was made (someone will surely look up with what build that was)

Please use webUI factory defaults, or CLI nvram erase && reboot. Please see build threads also post linked below.

New Build - 08/24/2022 - r49866 (new layout, to reset) --> EA8500: Old & New sysinit network reference defaults

New Build - 08/29/2022 - r49976 (Read pages 2 and 3) All switch cpu port layout changes detailed above also diff.

regarding the webif performance. i made some code which indeed slowed it down. this is a known issue. i'm currently working on a issue where several elements of the page are incorrectly loaded or broken sometimes. not a serious issue, but annoying. i'm still working on this and in my internal versions its now much faster again. still testing

@grc, thanks for reporting

OpenVPN Status page display problem has been confirmed and noted.

Developers are aware and dealing with it Smile

Uncovered 16 year old bug on this page by removing CSS rules overkill specificity.

fix https://github.com/mirror/dd-wrt/commit/bff4faabcc74f3ca11208832c2c27f404900b56f.patch

Anyway thx for the report.

This page needs way more love to bring it inline with other pages if anyone can take a full screenshot of the page fully populated with openvpn tables etc would be a good visual aid.

This page has still many issues and missing stuff from inception, now on my todo list for tomorrow first thing.

Which four variables? EA8500 (all dual cpu port models) avoid and ignore Switch Config tab, use only commands.

I'm suggest you to change values router name, hostname and wifi network name. You have default there and it's unsecure solution. Any other name should be better.
