Unable to mount NAS properly. Connected by eSATA and using Samba
From the log:
Oct 1 14:10:26 RHS local5.err ksmbd: [ksmbd-worker/2364]: ERROR: SRVSVC: unsupported INVOKE method 21
On the USB page:
Code:
--- /dev/sda1
Block device, size 931.5 GiB (1000153808896 bytes)
Windows BOOTMGR boot loader
NTFS file system
UUID EEAEFEECAEFEAC69
Volume size 931.5 GiB (1000153808384 bytes, 1953425407 sectors)
/dev/sda1 mounted to /tmp/mnt/sda1
On the NAS page the selection now says: /mnt/sda1 [not available!]
Previous build used was 48xxx.
Rebooting and power cycling still does not restore mount.
Either a dirty NTFS FS, remove drive plug into a Windows computer, fix the FS and rinse and repat DD-WRT side or something else, NTFS always the weak link.
Removed external drive and plugged into windows computer. Window reported it needed to be scanned, but did not find any errors. The drive was accessible.
Plugged back into the router and it was recognized properly.
@alland NTFS3 and Linux have no chkdsk equivalent. Tools or utilities, empty promise. Use ext2 or ext4.
@oliver44 Switch Config tab missing until after reboot is a well known behavior and for a very long time.
Marvell needs to use command-line method anyway. Avoid this tab completely. Pretend it does not exist.
