Sorry this is phpbb2, not worth the time for something Ive never seen being used (as in HTML within any posts)

Can I use HTML?
That depends on whether the administrator allows you to; they have complete control over it. If you are allowed to use it, you will probably find only certain tags work. This is a safety feature to prevent people from abusing the board by using tags which may destroy the layout or cause other problems. If HTML is enabled you can disable it on a per post basis from the posting form.
Ill ask if its disabled, but even if its not phpbb2 likely disables stuff or is buggy or doesn't even support some features like [space] and whatever else.
It seems some of those you pasted are rendered only when quoting see screenshot.

The user profile option generally does not appear if it's not enabled in the admin / global configs for phpBB2, AFAIK. And what html is allowed is very limited as noted by the-joker. This is a dangerous option to enable, anyway, regardless of the safeguards, especially since phpBB2-final was still filled with flaws, vulnerabilities, and holes - one to note is the sid issue. If a topic or post-comment submission does not display an "&sid=" in the URL, then the php not processing correctly and not necessarily secure.
Take either post with a grain of salt, hydrogen peroxide, or rubbing alcohol... whichever you prefer. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
