Hey there,
Really sorry to bother you all. I recently tried to flash my Netgear r8000 with dd-wrt 44715, and I'm now having issues accessing 192.168.1.1, as each time I try to load onto it I get that its refusing to connect. I've read a few forums now, but I still don't know exactly what I should try to do and I don't want to brick my router completely. If anyone has any tips it would be much appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Try using the Firefox browser and clearing the cache. Also, after flashing wait five to 10 minutes before trying to access the GUI since sometimes it takes time before all the setting are activated.

tried on firefox and still having issues, also waited a while. Is there anything else I can do?

Try a reset of your router is that doesn't work, then try a command line flash:
Make sure your browser is not trying to access https://192.168.1.1
rather than plain http (no s).
x2. Most browsers default fallback to https or are configured for https-only mode and if you just enter the IP address, it will give this error; there is a way to fix that in the settings and additional configs of the browsers... <wink> _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

I believe the HTTPS mode in Firefox is off by default, but if not it is selected the Privacy and security area:
HTTPS-Only Mode
HTTPS provides a secure, encrypted connection between Firefox and the websites you visit. Most websites support HTTPS, and if HTTPS-Only Mode is enabled, then Firefox will upgrade all connections to HTTPS.Learn more
Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows
Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in private windows only
Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode
I just tried http://192.168.1.1/ with Firefox "Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows" and I was able to access it without any warnings or errors.
