Hi,

I have set up a PI0 to connect to WiFi but I cannot get it to connect to one router but it does connect to the other. Both run DDWRT, and as far as I can tell the WiFi settings are the same. Both on WPA2 Personal. It connects to the one physically further away..
I set up the RasPi with Imager, only changing the SSID to connect to when swapping setup.

Does NOT connect to
Router ModelNetgear WNDR3700 V4
Firmware VersionDD-WRT v3.0-r48540 std (03/20/22)

Does connect to
Router ModelNetgear R7000
Firmware VersionDD-WRT v3.0-r44483 std (10/02/20)

Anyone any ideas?

Surprised That is most likely your problem.
The two router are nothing alike.

You should prolly do a bit of research about the WNDR3700v4.
It is old but still a great unit.

A place to start 'bout its WiFi settings:

AND ... you should update firmware on both Twisted Evil
