|
I downloaded the 2020-11-03 firmware, v 3.0, build 44715.
I unplugged my fiber modem, changed my ethernet cable from my Netgear Orbi to the WDR3600. It did not connect. I called my fiber provider, and they confirmed it was DHCP (not PPoE). They said they had to clear my MAC, which they did, then I unplugged modem and rebooted router and modem. Still would not connect. I changed the gateway to the .1 of the IP address I was assigned (ended in .99). That was the gateway listed on my previous router.
I can only get them to clear the MAC during the week, but it did not work when they did last time. I am out of ideas. I want to use the WDR3600 as I can set it up with Express VPN, which is not compatible with my RBR50.
Thank you in advance for any help. |

If your WAN is DHCP, all you should have to do is use the default Auto DHCP. Current release is 50176. Upgrade, reset, start over.
