We can give better support if you state router model and build number.

From CLI (telnet/Putty) try:
stopservice dnsmasq && startservice dnsmasq

Or reboot the router

As this is about an Archer C9, I moved this to the Broadcom forum

@article15 You might edit the title for the thread as it has nothing to do with port bonding

Are you trying to use a separate VLAN for your guest network? Doesn't this require a new bridge to be added (br1) and VAP / VLAN assigned to it? Are you also trying to separate one of the ethernet ports to this VLAN as well? It seems unclear as to what the scope and goal is here.

I just did a quick test and it works as advertised.

router EA6900, build 49934

On Switch Config Tab I made VLAN 4 and put port 2 on VLAN 4

Apply and after a couple of minutes on Networking Page I could see VLAN 4, unbridged it put it on its own subnet.

Apply, after a few minutes made a DHCP server on that same page Apply, and after a few minutes a reboot and my PC attached to Port two was on its own subnet

So not sure what is going on your side but for me it is working

i am not really sure too. i am able to done this things on pfsense without any issue.
still not sure but i guess but something wrong with archer c9 and ddwrt switch and port bondings.
as the same way if ive create virtual ap to 2ghz ten unbridged it with its own subnet then everything's works fine. also i am fed-up that i had to reboot router after every movement otherwise it doesn't care about my changes

You only have to reboot when you are done.

But the Archer should be a fairly standard Broadcom Northstar router but with low flash ram.

But who knows which corners TP link has cut, not my favourite brand.

Try physical ethernet port 1. Port order may be backwards between the webUI and the physical ports.
