Unless there was a magical change between that revision and 49544 (upgrade would verify this), then the build config for this device doesn't include Wireguard for some reason. Looking at 49544 image sizes, there's obviously something else included that is taking up space that could be used for Wireguard.
Going by the config file that may or may not be accurate, this device is using openssl, openvpn, and samba3, among other things that take up space. I'm going to take a guess that samba3 is probably a key factor as to why there isn't enough space for Wireguard. The only way to know 100% for sure is for all of these config files to be accurate, though. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

I checked config file for a few different devices including 1043 that was claimed earlier in this thread to have Wireguard in stock and didn't find any lines related to it for any model.
There is a number of VPN services that may stand for it.
Code:
CONFIG_VPNC=y
CONFIG_VPND=y
CONFIG_OPENVPN=y
Anyway they are the same as for other models. But you are probable right the config file is not accurate.
So do you suggest to downgrade may be to the older version where here is no samba3 or nay other steps?
