Is it normal for Netgear R7800 to briefly disconnect when applying almost any settings (e.g. applying Wireless settings disconnect wired Ethernet)?

To answer your question in a more proper tone: Yes, it's normal because clicking the apply button restarts certain services within DD-WRT, including networking, which results in a disconnect for around 2 minutes to 5 minutes at most from my observation. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Thank you Alozaros, kernel-panic69. All clear now.
I was surprised by this behavior as I have seen otherwise on Broadcom based hardware. _________________ Several NetGears with Broadcom and with Atheros
