Updated my TP-Link Archer C8 V3 to the latest firmware. It works fine however status LEDs are still not working.

Here is the GPIO setup for the LEDs and buttons:
GPIO 0 -> WIFI LED
GPIO 1 -> Ethernet LED
GPIO 2 -> USB LED
GPIO 3 -> WIFI Button (INPUT!!!!)
GPIO 4 -> Power LED
GPIO 6 -> WPS LED
GPIO 7 -> Reset / WPS Button (INPUT!!!)
GPIO 8 -> WAN LED

Is there a way to configure the GPIOs?

Thanks

Kernel: Linux 4.4.302-st14 #6676 SMP Thu Jul 14 10:37:00 +07 2022 armv7l
Previous: v3.0-r49268 std (06/19/22)

Firmware: working: dd-wrt.v24-47381_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_RT-N16.trx (9/2021)
Tried dd-wrt.v24-49492_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_RT-N16.trx
Router: ASUS RT-N16
Mode/Status: Wired and Wireless 2.4 GHz only as AP DHCP
Reset: Tried both ways
Issues/Errors: Had to revert back to 47381

Updated via web interface using the trx file first.
Did not reset settings initially, but I could not connect wired or wireless. I then reset to 49492 via TFTP which reset it to defaults. I connected up via wired forcing a 192.168.1.2 and configured exactly how I had it under 47381 and rebooted then again no wired, no wireless. Going back to 47381 fixed it.
I would love to get off this older version, wish I knew which beta for sure worked for the Asus RT-N16 .
I used the TFTP reset procedure to get it back to 47381 BTW.

@muerte33:

It's rather difficult to guess "how you had it configured" without visuals (screenshots). Please give us exact information and steps to reproduce the issues. Thanks.

I do not think there are many people left still using the Asus RT-N16, so I am probably just going to retire it and buy a modern router. Thanks very much!

I honestly suspect that part of the problem is not running the K3x big firmware image that is available for it, but without any information to help troubleshoot, you are free to choose to retire it and get something else - preferably something that is currently supported by DD-WRT. I am always open to receiving others' retired routers for testing, FYI. Cool

Once my new router arrives, I will definitely attempt the upgrade of the ASUS RT-N16 to the K3X big build. I know I have to run it through the 21530 transition build, but I should be able to do that. Having the new router takes the pressure off possibly bricking the Asus RT-N16!
Thanks

Well, if there is a regression or bug in the K26 images, it may apply across the board, which would impact certain devices that can *only* run K26 images. I guess we'll address that at a later point in time - but it still doesn't help that we don't know what configurations you had set to begin with that resulted in the loss of functionality, whatsoever.
