not that this matters but the latest firmware 07-20-2022-r49531 shows up in my Asus RT-AC68U as v3.0-r49532 std (07/20/22) not r49531

You either flashed wrong binary or the newer flash didnt take.

I actually have same router as you, and flash new build more often then they are public to to development I do for the UI.

Ive noticed similar issues when flash didn't take for some unknown reason but its rare in my experience.

But flashing via CLI here always seems to work best. Cause browsers caches can interfere and cause weirdness.

CTRL+F5 to force browser cache is a good idea. Try it or flash via CLI

write filename.trx linux and ensure no errors. then reboot if no errors show.

A little birdie told me that Broadcom ARM devices' firmware images were compiled at revision 49532 vs. 49531. Read the build release thread for proof.

New Build - 07/20/2022 - r49531

Not the first time that the revision number didn't match the revision number of the folder on the download server or the build release thread. Atheros 44715 is 44719, for example. There have also been Official (BS) releases that had an "M" because the commits weren't posted to an actual revision number yet for included fixes. The "M" is also usually included in Community Builds' revision numbers by @egc and were also present in <Kong> and other non-Official firmware image releases. This concludes our history lesson for the moment. Please return your trays to the upright position while the pilot fights the wind shear to land this bumpy ride.

It showed up as r49532 for me as well. Looking at the replies in the thread for the new build, a few others have the same build number.
