Due to @Mesmurized's comment above, I looked into the WAN domain name thing as I had noticed that it was in the main status page, decided to first change the DHCP server setting on Services page to use LAN/WLAN domain name, saved, rebooted - all good. Then I decided to test "home.arpa" in the LAN domain text input block and that didn't go well as I noted earlier. So, I used a static IP to access router and change it to ".home.arpa", saved and rebooted and it worked. Granted, the device is *not* on this release, it is on 49125 alpha and I would have to see if there was a regression or something else introduced that has since been fixed. I do know one thing, the changes I made today seems to have brought some unexpected improvement to things, lol. Could be coinkydink, or my old brain playing tricks on me... _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
