Hi All,

I just refreshed my network with the latest software version for DD-WRT and i have new 5G CPE Modem/Router.

Modem: 5G CPE Huawei Max Pro
Router: WRT1900 ACSv2
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r49467 std (07/09/22)

5G CPE is in Bridge Mode

5G CPE --> WRT1900 --> Home LAN

How do access the setting for the 5G CPE now that its in bridge mode?
Previously when it was not in bridge mode, i could access it via an app to monitor its signal parameters and change its APN setting for when i switched the sim card.

The app i use connects via an IP address.
So, what's the IP address of the 5G CPE now?

I have tried: WAN IP, Old IP LAN, IP LAN printed on rear of Modem. None works.

I suspect i need to do something advanced from the DD-WRT setup page to access it now?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like there's a smartphone app for accessing via wi-fi:

https://consumer.huawei.com/en/routers/5g-cpe-pro/

If the wi-fi is disabled, though, that could be a problem. Their online support site is not very helpful, either.

Didn't find much here:

Found this YouTube video about the webUI (not watching 20+ minutes to find out if it has anything of value):

I finally found this for the Pro2:

Looks like you have to set up a static route to the webUI. There is also this old wiki, but whether or not it will work for your use application would have to be verified by you:
