What I can gather from a look inside:
- D-Link DSL-G256DG Wireless VSDL router REV-A1
- The Wifi Chipset appears to be BCM4360 (BCM43602KMLG).
- The Flash Memory appears to be ESMT F59L1G81LA , but when I looked this up, it says that it's 1Gbit (128MB). Does that even make sense? https://www.esmt.com.tw/upload/pdf/ESMT/datasheets/F59L1G81LA(2Y).pdf
- The RAM appears to be SK hynix H5TQ2G63GFR , which appears to be 2Gbit (256MB) https://www.skhynix.com/products.view.do?vseq=1639&cseq=74 . Does that make sense?
Additional Info from the web-based GUI:
- 2 Symmetric CPU threads
- Build Timestamp: 06292018
- Software Version: OI_1.00.15
- Serial Number: SY6E1H7002907

It means that this firmware does not, nor will not ever support combination modem / routers. You will need a separate supported wi-fi router to use DD-WRT. There is no firmware file that will flash to that device and have working modem. If you are lucky, the router and wi-fi parts may work, but that is it. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
