Is this on the current release (r49361)? Looking at the hardware specs, it doesn't look as if it has the problematic RealTek ethernet switch. Most likely, if the page is not there, VLANs are not enabled by default.
Need to see the output of swconfig list via telnet/ssh; then swconfig dev (interface name, i.e. switch0, eth0, eth1) show. Will most likely have to use a startup/firewall script of some sort, anyway as that page is not functional on Atheros, Marvell, Ralink / MediaTek devices. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

I think the premise was to show which router and firmware version the "issue" was on, sir. Rhetorical question in previous post;
upgrade to current release per usual recommendation required. I still have a feeling that the swconfig scripting will still be required
as some devices do not have that page, whatsoever. There may even be the possibility that swconfig utility is absent.
You should be able to use the R7800 vlans guide as a reference for configuring
your vlans, provided swconfig utility is included in your firmware image. What you may *not* be able to do is have VLAN / VLAN tagging functionality on the WAN port.
Thanks it solved by upgrading but I had downloaded the firmware after searching in router database as shown here https://dd-wrt.com/support/router-database/?model=WR841N(D)_11.x, don't know how in future will I know where to look for the latest firmware..Kindly let me know on this

Only use the ftp link (second link) if you have an ftp client or use Pale Moon browser. Otherwise, the rest work using the usual download method via browser.
Also, you should check this forum for topics that start with "New Build" and report there after flashing a new release so that any issues may be addressed and so others can see that the build works on the device, etc. For example:
There is no amount of looking around, searching, and reading on this forum that is too much. FYI, just because the page is there does not mean you can use it; it serves no functionality on Atheros except for visuals.
