Welcome to Broadcom r49197 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers & community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in WebUIbut v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware. See Trac ticket #6246.
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Try client or repeater modes, but YMMV.
• VAPs not working at bootare fixed, both unbridged (r40634) and bridged (r47822). Please test, removestartup commands.
• If startup scripts do not work from USB add delay (wait script), sleep 25 or try Administration -> Commands -> Save USB.
• Broadcom ARM devices if 5 GHz channels are missingvia Telnet/SSH: 'nvram set brcm_unlock=1' 'nvram commit' 'reboot'.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: stracetcpdumpwireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, CB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Router Model: Netgear R6400v1
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r49197M Community Build (06/14/22)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.302-st14 #1 SMP Tue Jun 14 13:26:23 CEST 2022 armv7l
Upgraded from: DD-WRT v3.0-r48865M Community Build (05/13/22)
Reset: No not this time
Status: Up and running for 2 hours, basic setup as Gateway, static leases, Advanced routing, Port Forwarding, IPv4, 2.4 GHz with unbridged VAP and 5 GHz.
Running one WireGuard tunnel to Keepsolid and second WireGuard tunnel to own WG server for site-to-site connection.
OpenVPN client tested and working
With IPv6 enabled, I found that on IPv6 speed test sites using SFE and using CTF for Flow Acceleration gave me the best results. The Flow Acceleration CTF setting substantially increased the WI-FI speed.

Router/Version: r6300v1
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r49197 giga (06/14/22)
Previous/Reset: Reset to defaults and re-set up
Mode/Status: Gateway / Working with problems
Issues/Errors: After being up for ~1 day randomly crashed
Setup specifics:
DHCP on
IPv4 used / IPv6 off
SFE set to CTF
DNS forwarded to piHole (WAN DNS ignored)
OpenVPN server set up
~20 statically allocated IPs
Access restrictions set for some MAC addresses
Dynamic DNS set up via Custom selection
2.4Ghz radio ON (WPA2, forced AES)
5.0Ghz radio OFF
16GB USB formatted FAT32 plugged in
UPnP OFF with some ports manually forwarded
SSH + Remote SSH are turned on
All other settings are DEFAULT
Problem:
All CPU/Memory/Functions seem to be normal, randomly router rebooted after being up for ~1 day. Issue also happened on 6/7 build (but took ~4 days).
Issue seems to be DDWRT specific, prior to 6/7 build was running Tomato FW and had 600+ day uptime on the same hardware.
