Moved to Broadcom forum.

See the best wifi settings:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=327595
(a sticky in the Broadcom forum)

The R8000 is a bit of an odd duck as it uses a different wireless layout (DHD bus).

There is also an experimental build (in the build directory) which might be better or not.

Normally Broadcom Northstar routers are very well supported and rock solid but there are a few exceptions like the R8000 and R7000P due to their different wireless layout.

So no guarantee that everything will be hunky dory Sad

Sir egc said it all, only to add my opinion R7000 (not P) is sort of end of the line for Broadcom era.

QCA: R7800 (XR450/XR500), R7500v2, EA8500 (serial flash), R9000 (R8900/XR700), x86 (J4125).
