I would like to know if anyone has experience adding anycast to ipv4?
Looks like the possibilities are
with ip -4 route , or with ip -4 addr .
Maybe others are possible.

Some code would be nice. I haven't seen
anything in the dd-wrt folders.

IPv4 does not have anycast that is an IPv6 thing.

But you can setup with IPv4 see:

I think it does. I've read several posts that suggest it does. Looks like "ifaddr" includes it. I just don't know if dd-wrt does. Wanna see someone with experience. Kudos to all though.

Relies on BGP, which should be available under advanced routing. Not sure if there is anything in the router-included help files or wiki, but those are the places where I would look.

I did notice the posts about bgp and ospf and I want to do this without a whole different protocol. Thanks for asking. Want code and it looks like "ifaddr" might work.
