I apologize if this has been covered and solved elsewhere but I can't find it through the search engine.
To cut to the chase, my daughter is in college, she sublets a room to a college friend, and we have a cable modem monthly cap of 60GB at about $45/month.
The boarder is allowed to access the internet through our router, but for months we have been getting charged an extra $60 a month for exceeding the 60GB cap.
I have a DLINK DI 601 running dd-wrt. How I can use DD-WRT to block netflix traffic at my router?

You can block it at the DNS level either by using your own blocklist (search for adblock) or subscribing to a DNS provider e.g. Adguard, Nextdns OpenDNS etc, or use the firewall method (combined with DNSMasq) see IPSET for an example:
