Router/Version: WNDR430 19 File/Kernel: r48607
Previous/Reset: r48567/no reset
Mode/Status: Router running wireguard and OpenVPN server
Issues/Errors:
The intention of "iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o $(get_wanface) -j MASQUERADE" was not working on this build. I could not get to the router infront of the router. Secondly, I was unable to reach the router GUI/SSH, but was able to get to other hosts on the network. Third, the OpenVPN client would not get any responses to DNS queries. Rolled back to previous. _________________ Linksys: Several WRTxx00AC variations | Netgear: 4x WNDR4500v2, 7x WNDR4300, R6400v1 | Asus: 2x RT-AC66U | Gl.inet: 3x GL-AR150
When you say the speed is almost double the standard FW as a negative connotation implied, it's confusing to me, how is DD-WRT worse, when the speed is double that of standard? Please explain.
You did well to ask why I didn't see the error. I meant that the speed is lower than the standard firmware achieves. With DD-WRT it peaks at 300Mbps, with the standard it reaches 540Mbps, sometimes 600.
I'm not good at English.
As for the work they do, it's wonderful!

IDk if you're talking about WAN or Wi-Fi speeds. You never mentioned, I never asked.
As for WAN speed, I cant remember off hand what Atheros has specifically your router, but there are settings for sure you can change to make it faster if Im not mistaken.

Please open a new thread and provide screenshots of your setup, for the offending portion, if WAN provide screenshots of your main setup page, if Wi-Fi please reconfigure using the link above and if issues persists provide your wifi settings pages screenshots.
Sorry, I'm a bit confused
It's on wifi.
