[SOLVED]ProtonVPN, Wireguard and DDWRT?

ProtonVPN now supports Wireguard for Windows, Linux and Android but they still do not have a config file for DDWRT. Has anyone been able to get it to work? If so, could you please post a guide? Thank you.

Moved to the Advanced Networking forum where this belongs.

NordVPN has a similar problem, only has WG with their app.

There is a hack to obtain the settings see the WireGuard Client setup guide for NordVPN, but not sure if that works for Proton.

Last night I found out that Proton had quietly installed a Wireguard config generator at the bottom of their downloads page (under where the openvpn serves are located). I'll play around with it using @egc 's guide (in the sticky) this weekend and report back.

Thanks for reporting, I looked at it and it actually works.
I will make a note in the guide about it.

However the free configurations expires the next day.

Furthermore if you import the config make sure you set the Persistent Keepalive to 20 or 25

Just download the config file and import in DDWRT, set Persistent Keepalive and Bob's your uncle
