is there a guide someone can tell me about because i've bricked my tp link archer a7 while trying to return to stock firmware

quick research on tftp on tplink routers...there are youtube videos as well...

Attempted TFTP recovery mode yet? YouTube, DD-WRT wiki and OpenWrt wiki all have debricking guides. Edit: https://pjo2.github.io/tftpd64/ - tftpd64.464.zip - tftpd32.464.zip and old tftpd32.452.zip just in case. Last edited by blkt on Tue Mar 15, 2022 18:20; edited 1 time in total

Tried that, the wps light comes on for 10 seconds then goes off leaving the power light on

What are you getting for pings when it is booting? That usually tells a lot.

You may need to put a switch in between your computer and the router you are attempting to debrick.

I find one of the best guides for debricking TP-Link routers is here: https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer_c7#installation_or_restore_with_tftp

Make sure to use a factory (TP-Link firmware) or factory-to-ddwrt file.

The filename can be determined from TFTP32 / TFTP64 logs.

Right I managed to get tftp working it transferred over but all the lights on router blink for a second then go on power light again
