I'm on my second WRT3200ACM. I bought the first one from Amazon and upgraded it to DD-WRT Firmware v3.0-r47528.

I was never able to get my Ring Doorbells to work right and so I bought a WRT3200ACM from Flashrouters thinking I'd get some expert support. They upgraded me to WRT3200ACM - DD-WRT v3.0-r42335 std (02/10/20) and somehow they got them working this weekend.

Long story short they've quit again and I cannot get them to connect. I even restored a backup from last night (when they were working)

The Ring Door bells are -- Ring Video Doorbell – 2020 release – 1080p HD video, improved motion detection, easy installation – Satin Nickel

I have WRT54GL and when I connect these Ring Doorbells to that router they work EVERY TIME

Driver & binary blob issue unfortunately Linksys nor Marvell develop or support as WiFi/BT sold to NXP.
Easy fix is to set up an access point for example with WRT54GL, or migrate to Atheros hardware setup.
Recommended: R7800 (XR450/XR500), R9000 (R8900/XR700), R7500v2, EA8500 (serial flash) or x86.

Due to recent changes in mac80211 affecting Marvell WRT series use the builds no earlier than r47720,
a build from December 2021 but always recommend latest available. New Build - 02/20/2022 - r48402

Early known workarounds in the past have been to limit your 2.4 GHz wireless network modes G-Only,
BG-Mixed or disable WMM which indirectly forces legacy rates. New builds might find option to disable
LDPC (ESP8266 workaround) in 2.4 GHz advanced settings. IoT smart home switch automation TLDR.

I'll echo that. One 2.4 SSID with WMM support disabled, and one 2.4 SSID with WMM support enabled. Both are NG-Mixed.

I have two devices from the same manufacturer, and one will only connect to the disabled and the other will only connect to the enabled WMM network.

I had similar issues and was able to fix them with suggestions from this post.
