Previous/Reset: 47822/no reset
Mode/Status: Router/AP, Gateway, OpenVPN client, PBR/split DNS
Issues/Errors: Uptime 1 hour, working well, still learning
I upgraded through the Web GUI (without resetting) to get the easy-mode split dns and PBR enhancements.
After the upgrade I added two routes to the VPN PBR and enabled split DNS + killswitch. This made my streaming services happy, as Sony rejected the vpn, and Netflix/HBO rejected IP/DNS mismatches.
Wired, wireless, and VPN connectivity has been stable on my devices.
My OpenVPN throughput is consistent with my 47822 setup, which is about 50% of direct-traffic speed.
My setup still likely falls into the basic category:
- I have eth0, wlan0, and wlan1 bridged (br0) with dynamic and static dhcp ranges routed through the vpn, as well as a static range bypassing the vpn.
- I have a 2nd bridge (br1) for wlan0.1 and wlan1.1 handing out dynamic addresses from a range routed to bypass the vpn. PBR just required two opt-in ranges and enabling split DNS.

WPA2/WPA3 not tested yet.
Just test WPA3 wifi security, It is problematic and get disconnected when my android 11 connects to wrt32x with WPA3 Personal / SAE only. Sometimes, the android device just connected to wrt32x with less than 10s then stop transmission. After a while, both 2.4/5GHz are not working. Is there anyone can use WPA3 on wrt32x or wrt1900acs v2 without any problem?
I found another problem is that when i restore the previous setting file. My wrt32x cannot restore all the settings instead of factory defaults after reboot. Also, after reset to factory default setting manually in WebUI. The index.asp cannot display correctly as below photo.

There was someone saying something about the IPv6 page in another thread, but all I had to do was change the page zoom and it looked correct.

using browser zoom is not the best idea (or changing default font sizes)

Correct, and I am not sure if that page was taken into consideration when the-j0ker did any of the webUI improvements.
I had it do a factory reset after flashing and now I cannot get the webgui or IP. it is showing an SSID "dd-wrt". _________________ For people who are new to the dd-wrt forums >> http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#rtfm

Yes, DHCP isn't working after reset. Define 192.168.1.2 on the computer, then you can access it again. _________________ Linksys: Several WRTxx00AC variations | Netgear: 4x WNDR4500v2, 7x WNDR4300, R6400v1 | Asus: 2x RT-AC66U | Gl.inet: 3x GL-AR150
realized that a little later after some more investigation. But I did notice the CPU load immediatly spikes to 100 and then webgui becomes unresponsive.
Looking some more into this "Browser cache" supposed cause atm.
EDIT: I deleted all the password profiles for the WRT3200ACMs default IP and its stuck at 100 percent CPU with the webgui still slugish. Definitely going to need brainslayer to keep hacking away at this although I have faith he already is doing that. _________________ For people who are new to the dd-wrt forums >> http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#rtfm

Portable browser, no add-ons/extensions/plugins loaded, private browsing mode. I personally use Pale Moon portable / FF ESR Portable I'm failing to have this alleged issue on Broadcom, MediaTek, Ralink, Marvell, etc. The only caveat of a reset that may cause this is either bad hard-coded defaults / default nvram vars that were never changed to reflect other changes or the sysctl settings previously mentioned that everyone changed to 0 instead of the default 1. I have seen no commits in two days, and have not inquired about this issue personally. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Linux User #377467 counter.li.org / linuxcounter.net
Upgraded WRT1200AC v1's from r48289 to r48296 using Brave 1.10.97 (64-bit) running on Linux Mint 20.3 OS hardwired via Cat6.
Successful update and reboot. No reset, nothing disabled prior to update, uptime approx 40 hrs +, wired/wireless connected, vpn up immediately (Expressvpn). SFE, QoS and IPv6 are always disabled. OpenVPN client/DNSMasq and radios always enabled. I do not have any Apple devices. I do not use NAS.

Can you maybe in a new post explain how you did this? I would like to create an AP which always bypassed the VPN. I can create the virtual AP and br1, but don't know where to go from there. Thanks!
