Yes, indeed. I'm so glad for dd-wrt's existence. Third party firmware support has become a hard requirement for me in router purchases.
Also, is it just me or has dd-wrt matured to the point where new builds are mostly free of issues?
Most reports in new build threads indicate no major/new problems. I had the impression that even a few years ago upgrading to the latest build was much more of a hit or miss endeavor.

DD-WRT has always worked for me aswell. And in rather old hardware. Though very simple use cases. Some issues in past, like 2013, when trying to set up it as VPN client.
Now hoping to get Wireguard working, thus posting here to see the guide
