EDIT: Same for 48245 & now x86 builds busted too; but even worse on x86.

Broke the wifi on the R9000 and could not get the radio's to broadcast even though status page said on. Played with some changes and save/apply buttons but did not come back to life.

I had to revert to r48218.

Will test more later, need to get the main R9000 back online for the family and work.

I also saw a user complaing about wifi, fourth post:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=331386

Of course it is not Atheros but as there have been changes in the wireless department maybe related.

Did someone ping BS about it?

Nightly builds are untested, and intended for those who help BS troubleshoot the development progress and make frequent contributions on the forums. They're not intended for daily public use. The links are private and available to a select few; sorry if this seems harsh. The nightly build aren't anything better or more special other than bleeding edge changes and often have hiccups in them as evidenced by this topic. One must be able to demonstrate themselves and some skillset level to unbrick and report their findings.

Stick to the public builds as we select few report issues and get things fixed in the nightly releases for the public.

This is why I suggested to repurpose the old betas sub-forum for nightly builds, but it is just too tedious to restrict it to those select "few".

thanks for the quick response guys. Completely understand the reasoning behind release of nightly builds. I will stick with the beta builds as suggested.

48245 has the same issue...BS hasn't replied to me yet, either. Guess he's working on some big code changes...patience for all the nightly testers.

Fixed in r48255... 802.11r issue with the nas identifier and call outs to it.

if you were not using 802.11r you had no issues. If you were using 802.11r- this may have been your issue.

it's working again!
