I have new router TP-Link Archer a6 v2 EU. I'm find alternate firmware for it. You have in plan to support this device. In technical aspect is probably the same as C6 v2. Actually DD-WRT not support that model. OpenWRT is no available for this edition. OpenWRT support A6 v2 US edition and that firmware isn't correct for EU. Performance on stock firmware is not fine (280 - 300 mbit on WAN). Actually my WNR3500L v2 have 540 and ISP provide me ~630 mbit/s. I know when I'm flash a6 v2 to alternate firmware situation should be better.

New device support usually requires a hardware donation so the developer has a device to test. Would've been easier to buy a device that is already supported (like the C7v5/A7v5).

support should be easy to make if i have a test device. the eu models er different from us and have less flash memory unfortunatly

hmmm if this unit has 280-300 MBit WAN speed at stock firmware and this is the theoretical maximum for its CPU, i doubt it will outrun this speed while on DDWRT...even if DDWRT has SFE (software forwarding engine) to accelerate WAN performance, your speed expectations may not be matched.....although i have a TP-link 1043v2 that runs quite fast while on stock firmware and is advertised as a close to gigabit WAN speed...(ive never tried it)...for better WAN speed you may need a better router ...
