Router/Version: ASRock G10
File: dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r47976 std (01/06/22) (prev. DD-WRT v3.0-r47911 std (12/23/21))
Mode: Gateway, SFE disabled, 2.4G and 5G wifi, Wireguard for external access, WAN to 4G, Keep Alive reboot 6:02 in the morning
Reset: YES
Status:
still having the same issue.
Does anyone know why?
My problems:
SMB not visible on Android or TV devices anymore
pyload won't work
my NTFS hard disk (5tb) casually (after restart of router) won't be visible anymore, rather a different partition appears (15mb)

This version might have a bug in ksmbd, see the first page of this thread.

I think that is not ok when someone is using the free time to test the builds and then someone is rude....
Who was being rude? I merely asked for more complete information for the developer's benefit so if there was an issue to be fixed that it would get fixed. Keep in mind that there are folks on the forum who are in daily direct contact with the developer about issue reports as well as testing nightly snapshot builds. If people get put off about providing more complete information, they should wait until they aren't too busy to post reports, perhaps. My apologies, @mrjcd. Anyway, BrainSlayer asked for devices and configs about this samba issue...

I am running an alpha version 47985 and have no problem with windows connecting or X-plore from Android
Windows is not a problem at all. Just Android and TV is a problem. What do you mean with ksmbd? I am not too much into this, so it is a bit tricky for me

How was thanking him for taking time after he said he was busy rude? I thought you saying thanks was a nice thing for him doing that. Not sure why you are apologizing because someone was reading into something that was just not there; Sarcasm. I know you can be sarcastic at times, but this is obviously not one of those times.

Happy New Year all!
Quick question before I try the build.. Using an R7800, I am currently on build 47381 which has been my fall back. Last five flashes I have tried with different builds between 476XX-478xx, I have not been able to get themes to work. The options are there, but won't apply to any of the styles. I had other small glitches with a couple of those builds, but the theme is why I reverted. Before I try this build, I wanted to ask about the dark theme. Am I likely looking at a reset to get that going again after changing from 47381?
I have cleared cached data and tried on multiple browsers; Waterfox/Firefox, Vivaldi, Edge and Pale Moon.

That's not rude, lol. And that was my fault, I had emailed BS about the "issue". Hopefully, this next whopper of a release has some much-awaited welcome changes and enhancements.

X-plore works on Android. However, the files App on my phone won't find it. My TV won't find it. VLC Player won't find it under networks. Any idea why?
