[SOLVED] Login to SFTP (Dropbear)

So Dropbear now accepts sftp and seems to connect, which is cool, but how to login? Normal ssh login doesn't seem to work for sftp.

it worked for me, although I have bcm unit... and I had to enter admin credentials... username and password from sharing list didn't worked...

username: root (do not use the username you set in webif)
password: whatever you set in webif

Works 100% here both broadcom and atheros.

I have split this from the build thread since these aren't for general support and help you get better attention.

To better assist you, please enable syslog and pastebin https://0bin.net/ the resulting syslog and paste the link here that shows the failed attempts.

Local SSH
SSH must be toggled on in services - Secure Shell - SSHd - enabled

User name always root and use your password

To access from outside LAN Administration - Remote Access - SSH Management - enable

Well you said originally, normal ssh credentials didn't work and its also same credentials for sftp/scp/ssh. So if one works the other must also.
